In early 2007, the founder of DmCards, Jelke Schaafsma (Linkedin), started developing a fully automated solution for quickly and easily sending postcards from a customer data base.

DmCards developed a quick and easy link with various (customer) databases and point-of-sale systems, enabling the use of postcards as an active tool for marketing, customer relationship management or Human Resources.

We help companies to automate the process of identifying and mailing, so that they can target their mailings effectively.

The team

The DmCards team consists of interactive/multimedia designers, support staff, and ICT developers who have a great deal of knowledge and experience in PHP, Actionscript, Java, ASP.NET and in developing apps for smart phones.

Patent

DmCards has developed various combinations of hardware and software techniques, for which they hold patents.

Shareholders

The shareholders of DmCards are: Jelke Schaafsma, TechnoStars, and 3 co-investors. TechnoStars is a venture capital organization, established by the ‘Brabantse Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij’, the Technical University in Eindhoven, the Rabobank, and Simac.

International

DmCards has an establishment in Canada. DmCards Canada Inc. and its partners offer the DmCards software-as-a-service licenses to companies in Canada and the USA.
